Welp, I had fallen way behind. But after powering through for some time today, I’m almost caught up again! It’s pretty exciting to see, and I feel like, with what time I will have tomorrow, I may finally obtain that dream of getting ahead! =O
Story-wise, we’re getting to the dramatic moment that pushes through to the end of the story. Naturally, I’m not telling it properly. It doesn’t have the alarm or the power that it needs. But I’ll fix that all in revisions. The important thing for now is that I at least get a solid skeleton down.
The last bit that I wrote today is:
I could feel her close behind me on the stairs. I screamed again, hoping to call people close to my position. By the time I reached the top of the steps I could hear the bustle of people. They were already shouting, calling out to each other. None of them seemed ready to defend me, but more working to protect themselves. Indeed, the only people I saw coming towards my direction was Adrian with the doctor in tow. Their eyes were enlarged, surprised at the sight in front of them.“Paige!” Adrian called out.
I hope each of your novels are going just as well - or much better - than mine!
