Welp, I’m behind again. But I’m also really getting into a groove, so I feel like it will be easy to catch up. I still feel in a solid position to win, though I do need to improve my game if I want to win prior to November 30th.
Story-wise, I’m reaching a point that I reached with my last novel, too. It’s a point at which all the thoughts in my head say, “this is incredibly boring. No one will want to read this. You won’t even want to read this back.” I choose to ignore this thought in my mind since, first and foremost, I want to win and just complete my novel. That’s it. I’ll make it interesting in revisions, even if it means changing large portions of the story.
Last few words of the story today:
This warranted my attention. I turned to face him. Goodness he was handsome. Maybe the wrong guy was pursuing me. Oh well, I’d never know.
Feel free to be my writing buddy!
How are you doing at this whole “writing 50,000 words of a novel in one month” thing?
