For the first day, I got past the target words per day, which is good! But I also want to write extra on the weekends (and early on) to make up for any days I might miss. This is just a precaution, but one I usually like to practice. Plus, then I get done sooner! Anyway, I’m hoping I’ll write even more words per day tomorrow and Sunday. :)
Story-wise, I’m moving a bit faster than I’d like to move. It means I may have some words left over at the end without as much story to accomplish. Though, I suppose, I could go and add in more paragraphs of details, or even a subplot I didn’t originally intend.
EDIT: Also I’m writing it in first-person, present tense and I can’t tell you why. I know at least the present tense will probably change part-way through, and I won’t be able to stop it! Why did I do this to myself??
If you want to be my writing buddy, add me on NaNoWriMo’s site! ^_^
How did your first day of NaNoWriMo go?
